Right now, there are Tibetans in China protesting China's rule, and getting put on buses in the night, and taken away for it. Where are they being taken? Well, not to the County lockup, you can be sure. Commie Chinese prison, to be executed, or put through political reeducation (do any of you hippies out there know what that is?), at best. Life in Commie Chinese prison, at worst.

Here in America, I saw a guy with a hammer and sickle on his T-shirt, and a Free Tibet patch on his purse. No, actually, it's really just a big purse. I couldn't help myself to a laugh. Yeah, that's going on right now. HOW MUCH do you really care about shit?

In Kenya, it's all going down again. Civil war, ethnic cleansing, tribal genocide. Right now. Haven't heard anything about it in weeks. Maybe it stopped? No. Probably what happened was not enough people gave a shit. How much do YOU really care about shit?

Back here in America, I forgot about people getting hacked up with machetes and Clockwork Oranged in cellars for a whole day so's I could piss about my car troubles. Not one thought given to children being slaughtered with all the grace and dignity of a butcher shop. All day. Not one thought for people getting done by commie bastards the way they used to do my people, too. Not one thought for the shining star of hope, Alexis Goggins, and her naturally-ingrained hardcore instincts. Nothing for Tibet, nothing for poor Africa, nothing for the victims of 9/11, nothing for our hardworking troops, nothing for the ashes, nothing for their cries, which linger in the air and in our hearts, until we smell the Purina factory.

These kinds of things are happening RIGHT NOW, and not only do we not do anything, we forget! Taking action is one thing, but to not even feel anything? Yes, America is truly the land of Milk and Honey and, stupid asshole, do you even know what you would care about?

You want to end the war in Iraq? Enlist. You want peace? Find the love inside you, and give it to everyone you see. Don't take to the streets of Hometown, USA, with yer signs and bullhorns. Every time you try to demonstrate, you marginalize the civil rights movement. Did you know that? Yeah. For the most part, it still sucks to be black in this country. You didn't even know that shit, did you? How much DO you really care about shit?
